Christmas in Hawaii

Hawaiian grown steak on Christmas Eve.....Why not!

Christmas Morning

The word surreal is often misused or overused and so I generally try to avoid using it, but sometimes there are rare occasions when you find yourself observing your surroundings; you see what is going on around you and it seems too perfect to be real.  At those times, perhaps it is ok to use the word.  Spending Christmas in Hawaii with Ann and our children feels wonderfully surreal.  Pinch me.

Santa brought Craig a hammock made out of parachute material, but at first, Craig thought we had bought him a parachute.  We had a good laugh about this.

  1. Looks like the parents are glowing - like new parents again. Happy new year - how do you say that in Hawaiian?
