Fish Taco

We all got out of bed a little later than usual this morning and so by the time I went for my run, it was a little warm.  However, because I had checked the weather forecast for Alberta before going out and saw how terribly cold it is back home, my hot sweaty 5 km felt like a privilege and was very exhilarating.

Late in the morning, Ann and I drove to Kona because we felt the need to act like tourists.  We stopped at Walmart to look at some books and then parked the car near Ali Drive.  We checked out a few shops along Ali and then ended up in an open air, second story, water's edge bar for the rest of the afternoon.  The place was called Humpy's Big Island Alehouse and they had over 30 different beers on tap.  I also need to let James know that this place, so far, has the best fish tacos that we've found on the island.  It was 95 F down by the water and so it felt heavenly just hanging out in the shade of the bar for a few hours just watching the soft ocean breeze play with Ann's hair.  Equally as sensual as Ann's hair is the look and feel of the condensation dripping down the side of a cold pint of ale on a hot day.

Sadly, we forgot the camera in the car and didn't take any photos while in Kona.  The funny thing is; while we were sitting in the bar, Ann had been texting a few friends.  It didn't dawn on us until we were back in Waimea that Ann has a perfectly good camera on her iPhone.  Sometimes, we are so old.

I saw him jump out of Ann's teacup in our kitchen and then he tried to sell me car insurance for less.
